NRAA targets
The NRAA is Australia’s peak body for fullbore — centrefire — rifle: Target Rifle shot prone with aperture sights, F-Class with telescopes, and a Sporter class for an ordinary bolt-action hunting rifle. Scores are written in points and V-bulls — 50.7 is 50 points with seven central V-bulls — and the V count breaks ties.
Each distance usually opens with two “convertible” sighters that a shooter may count once seen, and in “Bisley style” two or three competitors share a target, firing in turn and keeping each other’s score. New Target Rifle shooters start in C Grade, and the national title is the King’s Prize.
