The Shooter app
Shooter is a scoring app for target shooters: it scores a paper target from a photo, keeps a count of qualifying range days per gun and warns you if one falls short, and checks members in at the club with a QR code.
Licence tracking
The app counts the days you shoot enough with each gun before a date you choose, and warns you in time. What counts, what you set, and what it leaves to you.Club check-in
Members hold up a QR code, the club’s phone scans it and keeps the register, offline. How it works, what it exports, and what it proves.Club register
The register a club’s phone builds from its check-ins: what is in a row, how to search it, and the CSV and PDF it exports.Score verification
A member shows a second code, someone with the pass code checks the paper target, and the club’s register records it. What that does and does not show.Scan a target
Photograph the target, check the shots the app found, and save. Which cards score on the phone and which with AI, the free scans, and your photo.AI scoring
AI finds the holes on a target the phone cannot score by itself. What it needs, what is sent, what a failure looks like and what stays your job.Offline detection
Some cards are scored on the phone with no internet. How the app decides which, why the bullet matters, and what it still reports.Scope Mode
Photograph the target after each shot, check the one new hole, and hear the score. How the loop works, what it needs and what it does not do.Manual entry
Type each shot on a ring keypad instead of scanning. How a session is entered, saved and resumed, and what it counts for and does not.TargetScan import
Bring a TargetScan backup into Shooter, one discipline at a time. What becomes a session, what is dropped and what leaves the phone.Share as image
Make a square picture of a score and send it with your phone’s share sheet. What is on it, what is not and what leaves the phone.Shooting log
The History tab lists every finished session, scanned or typed, and you can filter it. What a row shows and what can be changed after saving.Statistics
A score trend, a grid of quick stats and a training calendar per discipline, plus group figures on scanned results. What each one counts.Analysis
Chips on a scanned result, a list of recurring faults and an analysis report as PDF. What each one needs and why none of it is a diagnosis.Heat map
A density map of where the holes are, drawn beside the target on a saved scanned session. How it is built and what it does not show.Badges
Pick your federation’s badges, or make your own, and the app counts your series against each tier. What it counts, and what the federation still decides.Training tips
The app links to technique guides on this website, from the Profile tab and from the chips under a score, and it says when a chip needs more shots.Ranges
A range in the app is a name and a home-range switch. You tag a session with one, and the name is printed in the exports.Gun records
Each gun has a name and optional sight click values, default ammunition and licence details. This article lists the fields and where the numbers go.Export
The Export page makes a shooting activity PDF or CSV and an analysis report PDF on the phone, and hands the file to the share sheet.Backup
Make a backup file of your log on the phone or in your own cloud, and restore it on a new phone. What is in it, what is not and what a restore erases. No account
There is nothing to sign up for. What the app uses in place of an account, what it sends in the background and what deleting your data covers.
