DGI targets
DGI Skydning is the shooting branch of DGI, Denmark’s sports association, and since 2013 also runs the competitions of the old De Danske Skytteforeninger. Its year has two seasons — indoor 15 m from October to March, outdoor 25 to 300 m from April to September — and shooters are classed by age group and skill from last season’s average.
On its 15 m rifle and air-rifle cards a shot touching a ring line takes the lower value; from 50 to 300 m it takes the higher. The count of X-tens is written after the score, as 148/8, and decides ties. Most 15 m rifle classes shoot standing with a rest or elbow support.
