DGI 200m Rifle target

This is DGI's 10-ring rifle card for the summer season's class programme at this distance: 15 shots in 25 minutes, in three positions for the Stilling classes. It also carries the 200mNM programme, shot with Sauer STR200 or Otterup/Mauser rifles and no scope, with a time limit on every series.

Course
The class programme is 15 counting shots in 25 minutes, sighting shots included, with any number of sighters first; the Stilling classes shoot 5 prone, 5 kneeling and 5 standing, in any order.DGI chapter 3 C.4
Positions
Children shoot prone with a rest; juniors prone without a rest or standing with one; Åben and Senior prone without a rest, standing with a rest or standing with elbow support; Fri in any approved position.DGI chapter 3 A and C.4
30-shot series
At the organiser’s choice, competitions may shoot the programme as a 30-shot series instead of a main and a championship shoot: 55 minutes per shoot, any number of sighters before each position, and it counts as two results.DGI chapter 3 C.4; chapter 2, § 2 b
200mNM course
200mNM: a 5-minute sighting period, then 5 prone in 1.5 minutes, 5 standing in 5, 5 kneeling in 2; a 3-minute sighting period, then 3 standing, 3 kneeling and 4 prone in 5 minutes — every series on an open screen.DGI chapter 3 C.5
200mNM rifle
Only a standard Sauer STR200 or Otterup/Mauser rifle may be used in the 200mNM programme, without a telescopic sight; ties there go to the higher last series, then the one before, then the most 10s, 9s and so on.DGI chapter 3 C.5; chapter 4, § 10 c Indrangering ved pointlighed
Gauging
Cards are scored inward: when the gauge collar touches any part of a higher ring, the higher value counts. The gauge is the long-distance one with an 8 mm collar; none is used with electronic scoring.DGI chapter 4, § 7 Skivebedømmelse
X ring
An X-10 is a shot inside or touching a marked or imagined ring at the centre of the 10, half its diameter. Where markers signal, an X-10 is shown by turning the disc’s black and white sides alternately in front of the centre.DGI chapter 4, § 9 Markeringsbestemmelser ved markører
Ties
Totals carry the X-10 count after a slash (148/8). Ties go to the most X-10s, then 10s, 9s and so on over the whole shoot; with a main and a championship shoot, a tied total goes first to the higher championship score.DGI chapter 4, § 10 a Indrangering ved pointlighed

The Shooter app's scan screen, shown with an ISSF 10m Air Pistol card: each shot marked, the score, and the size and centre of the group

Training on paper? Photograph a card and the Shooter app finds the holes and scores them by these rings: every shot, your inner tens, the series total, your group’s size and centre. Holes merged? Add, move or remove a shot. Every card joins your training log, so drift shows up over time.

Scored with AI for now, which needs internet and your permission to upload the photo to an AI service in the US. Some AI scans may be free while we collect photos of this target; then each uses an AI credit (sold in packs in the app). Scoring by hand is free.
