SvSF targets
SvSF is Sweden’s member of the ISSF and the Swedish Olympic Committee, and runs its competitions partly under ISSF rules, partly under national rules of its own. Its national rifle shooting at 300 m allows only approved Swedish 6.5×55 rifles — the m/96, CG 63, CG 80, FSR 89 and Sauer 200 STR — and civilians also compete with the m/45 submachine gun.
Children can shoot air rifle from the year they turn 11, seated at a table with a rest. National air-rifle championships are scored in tenths, and paper air-rifle cards are gauged outward, unlike every other national rifle event. A shooter’s class is set each January from last year’s results: up any number of classes, down only one a year.
