NRA A-21 200yd Rifle target
The A-21 is the NRA's smallbore card for Long Range Conventional Prone, a single bull customarily taking ten shots. The event no longer counts for classification or national records; a sponsor who still runs it may use this card, or a high power range with that discipline's targets, pits and scoring.

- Course

- Time

- Sighters
- Sighting and fouling shots may be fired at any time unless the program forbids them, but only after the command COMMENCE FIRING.NRA rule 9.2

- Scoring overlay
- Where groups of two or more shots, or holes joined by a tear, partly obliterate the X, 10 or 9 rings of an outdoor card, scorers value them with the NRA Smallbore Rifle Scoring aid overlay, not a plug gauge.NRA rule 14.3(d)

Training on paper? Photograph a card and the Shooter app finds the holes and scores them by these rings: every shot, your X count, the series total, your group’s size and centre. Holes merged? Add, move or remove a shot. Every card joins your training log, so drift shows up over time.
Scored with AI for now, which needs internet and your permission to upload the photo to an AI service in the US. Some AI scans may be free while we collect photos of this target; then each uses an AI credit (sold in packs in the app). Scoring by hand is free.
