DSB Nr.2 15m Rifle target
Scheibe Nr. 2 is the DSB card for the Zimmerstutzen, a single-shot rimfire rifle shot standing, and for its rested version, whose classes start at 51. In the rested event a full 300 is not the end: those who reach it are ranked by a shoot-off scored in tenths.

DSB proficiency and master marksman badges
The DSB gives its performance badges each year to reward results and to encourage shooting for performance. A badge result can also count as the coordination test of the German Sports Badge (Deutsches Sportabzeichen) the same year. Clubs order the badges on a form at the end of each quarter, through their district, from their state association; in 2026 a small badge cost €4.00, a large one €4.50 and the master marksman badge €6.50.
Age classes go by the age reached in the calendar year, the DSB’s sport year.

- Rings in one match of the shots given, at a club shooting day or any DSB competition, announced to the range officer before the start and shot under supervision; one condition a day, no second try that day.
- The small badge takes the score once; the large badge, after the small one of the same colour, five times within a year.
- Only DSB-approved cards count.
- Female juniors take 5 rings off the junior numbers, as the table’s footnote says (worked out in the Junioren weiblich table); a class with no number may shoot the next stronger class’s.

- Rifle
- The rifle fires rimfire cartridges up to 4.65 mm and weighs at most 7,500 g; a set trigger and a hook buttplate are allowed, a palm rest is not, and the front-sight tunnel is at most 25 mm across and 50 mm long.DSB rule 1.30, rifle table
- Time
- The 30 shots have 45 minutes on target carriers or 40 on other systems; 15 shots have 30, or a recommended 25 on other systems. A common 15 minutes of preparation with unlimited sighting shots comes first, outside that time.DSB rule 1.30, rifle time table
- Rested event
- In the rested event (1.31), 30 record shots are fired standing at a rest (from Senioren III, aged 66, also seated on a stool), in 55 minutes on target carriers or 50 on other systems, sighting included; sighters are unlimited before the first record shot.DSB rules 9.2, 9.3 and 9.7.6.1
- Gauging

- Ties
- Ties go to the last 10-shot series counting back, then the most 10s, 9s, 8s…, then the most inner tens; still tied, the place is shared. A maximum score is not split unless a final is shot.DSB rule 0.12.1
- Shoot-off
- In the rested event, shooters who reach the full 300 shoot off in tenths: 5 minutes with any number of sighters, five shots of 50 seconds each, then single shots, all values added, the lowest dropping out each time.DSB rule 9.4.3

Training on paper? Photograph a card and the Shooter app finds the holes and scores them by these rings: every shot, the series total, your group’s size and centre. Holes merged? Add, move or remove a shot. Every card joins your training log, so drift shows up over time.
Scored with AI for now, which needs internet and your permission to upload the photo to an AI service in the US. Some AI scans may be free while we collect photos of this target; then each uses an AI credit (sold in packs in the app). Scoring by hand is free.
