DSB targets
The DSB is Germany’s federation for shooting and archery — Olympic rifle, pistol and shotgun, but also crossbow, muzzle-loaders, running target and rested shooting. From 51 its members may compete rested (“Auflage”) in senior classes of their own, from 66 seated on a stool, and at state and national championships the rested events are scored in tenths.
Ties go first to the better last ten-shot series, counting back; inner tens count only third. Children start at 6 with light rifles and light pistols, and anyone can earn the DSB’s performance badge at a club shooting day — announced beforehand, supervised, one attempt a day. Every late summer the German championships fill the Olympic range at Munich-Hochbrück.

DSB events shot on two targets
Most events are described on their target's page. These are shot on two targets – precision on one, rapid fire or duel on the other – so each has a page of its own: the whole course stage by stage, with the federation's rules.
| Event | Stages | Shots |
|---|---|---|
| DSB 25m Sport Pistol | Precision, duel | 60 |

| DSB 10m Air Pistol Combined | Precision, rapid fire | 40 |
