DSB Nr.4 25m Pistol target

At this distance DSB's Scheibe Nr. 4 is its precision pistol card: the precision stages of the .22 and centre-fire pistol events, all 60 shots of standard pistol, the large-bore pistol and revolver events, the rested sport pistol for seniors and the muzzle-loading pistols are shot on it. Duel and 20-second series move to the Nr. 10. The same card is also used as the FFTir C50 Precision Pistol (FFTir, France), the ISSF 25m Precision Pistol (.22) (ISSF), the NSRA 25m Pistol (PL7) (NSRA, United Kingdom) and the SPSF 25m Precision Pistol (SPSF, Sweden).

Leistungsabzeichen des BDMP

BDMP proficiency badges

The BDMP awards its badge only to shooters who have met their sporting and financial obligations to the federation. Its rules also set levels for PPC 1500, the Bianchi Cup and long-range rifle from 300 to 800 m. Every claim is checked against the match’s result list before it reaches the federal office, and each pin comes with a certificate signed by the BDMP’s president.

Shot at BDMP competitions only — the German and Landes championships, and supra-regional matches with at least 8 shooters from 3 clubs (SLGs) — by members of the BDMP and of friendly federations; one badge per weapon type per competition.

Leistungs- und Meisterschützenabzeichen des DSB

DSB proficiency and master marksman badges

The DSB gives its performance badges each year to reward results and to encourage shooting for performance. A badge result can also count as the coordination test of the German Sports Badge (Deutsches Sportabzeichen) the same year. Clubs order the badges on a form at the end of each quarter, through their district, from their state association; in 2026 a small badge cost €4.00, a large one €4.50 and the master marksman badge €6.50.

Age classes go by the age reached in the calendar year, the DSB’s sport year.

Schießauszeichnungen des KB

KB shooting awards

The KB’s awards share one design in every weapon type but the English Match, and are told apart by size, colour and inscription. Its Schießsportordnung doubles as the shooter’s record book, in which the club’s shooting officer signs off each award with its score and date. Claims are checked by the district shooting officer and passed on to the state’s; an award won against the rules is withdrawn. The Silbernes Gewehr was first awarded for the 1967 season.

Classes go by the age reached in the calendar year: Schüler up to 14 (Schüler I 10–11, II 12–14); J Sch / Jun, Jungschützen 15–17 and Junioren 18–20, M girls and J boys; Damen and Schützen 21–40; Damen Alt(ers) and Alters 41–50; Damen Sen(ioren) and Senioren 51–60; Sen(ioren) I 61–70 and II 71 and over, with their Damen classes; Behinderte I 18–50, II 51 and over. Klasse I–IV, as the KB defines them for its service arms: I 18–40, II 41–60, III 61–70, IV 71 and over.

25 m pistol · Standard pistol · Centre-fire pistol · Large-bore pistol · Rested sport pistol · Muzzle-loaders · Marking · Shoot-off
25 m pistol
In the .22 25 m pistol match the precision stage is six 5-shot series of 5 minutes each on this card, after one 5-shot sighting series; the duel stage follows on the Nr. 10 card. A paper card takes at most five shots.DSB rules 0.21, 2.18.2 and 2.18.3.1; Teil 2, p. 24
Standard pistol

Large-bore pistol
The large-bore pistol and revolver events (9 mm, .357, .44, .45), which may be shot two-handed, fire four 5-shot series of 150 seconds here, then four of 20 seconds on the Nr. 10; the best six add a final of two 20-second series.DSB rules 2.1.1, 2.21.2, 2.21.3 and 2.21.5
Rested sport pistol
The rested sport pistol is for seniors from 51 (from 66 also seated): 30 shots in six 5-shot series of 150 seconds, after one sighting series in 150 seconds; the pistol may lie on the rest before the start command.DSB rules 9.1 to 9.3 and 9.8.3
Muzzle-loaders
Muzzle-loading pistols and percussion revolvers shoot this card at 25 m: 15 shots in 40 minutes, after 10 minutes of preparation with unlimited sighters. For them a hit takes the higher ring only if the centre of the hole lies on the line.DSB rules 0.21, 7.7.1, 7.7.3 and 7.7.5
Marking
In 25 m events other than muzzle-loading, cards should be scored at the target line: each hit is shown with a paddle or coloured markers, a 10 in red and every other hit in white.DSB rules 0.11.1 and 0.11.1.1
Shoot-off
Where no final is shot, ties for the first three places, unless at the maximum score, are shot off one series at a time: a rapid-fire series in the 25 m and centre-fire pistol, a 10-second series in standard pistol.DSB rule 2.9

The Shooter app's scan screen, shown with an ISSF 10m Air Pistol card: each shot marked, the score, and the size and centre of the group

Training on paper? Photograph a card and the Shooter app finds the holes and scores them by these rings: every shot, your inner tens, the series total, your group’s size and centre. Holes merged? Add, move or remove a shot. Every card joins your training log, so drift shows up over time.

Scored on your phone, with no internet needed. Your first 10 scans are free, with no account; after that, scanning needs Shooter Pro, an auto-renewing subscription you can cancel in the store (prices). Scoring by hand stays free.
