SPSF 25m Rapid Fire Pistol target

SPSF uses this turning card for snabbskjutning, where the targets face the shooter for three seconds per shot, and for Militär snabbmatch, five-shot series in 10, then 8, then 6 seconds, open to service pistols, other large-calibre pistols and revolvers, and .22s. There, service-type pistols and large-calibre revolvers may be held with both hands. The same card is also used as the SSV 25m RF Pistol (SSV, Switzerland).

Rapid fire
Snabbskjutning is normally six series of 5 shots, after one 5-shot sighting series at the turning targets. The targets face the shooter for 3 seconds, one shot per exposure, and turn away for 7 seconds between exposures.SPSF rules H.6.1, H.6.4 and H.6.5
Positions
Snabbskjutning is shot standing without support hand or other support; between exposures the arm is lowered to the ready position at 45°. Class Veteran Ä, and from the year they turn 70 shooters in groups A, B and R, may use the support hand.SPSF rules H.6.3, H.6.3.2, H.6.3.3 and H.6.3.4
Military rapid fire
Militär snabbmatch is three rounds of four 5-shot series: 10 seconds a series in the first round, 8 in the second, 6 in the third, after a 10-second sighting series. It can be shot with weapon groups A, B, C and R.SPSF rule J.6.1
Ready position
Militär snabbmatch is shot standing, without the support hand in groups B and C and with it in groups A and R. Each series starts from the ready position, arm still at 45°, the gun loaded with 5 rounds, raised as the targets turn in.SPSF rules J.6.3 and J.6.3.1
Malfunctions
In Militär snabbmatch only two malfunctions, valid or not, are allowed in a match, one in group R. A series stopped by a misfire or valid malfunction is shot again, and the five worst shots of the two series count.SPSF rules J.6.8 and J.6.8.1
Badge
Militär Snabbmatchmärket needs a total set for the weapon group at three different riks, regional, national or district competitions in one calendar year, after meeting the bronze Pistolskyttemärket requirements the year before; one grade a year, in order.SPSF Bilaga 1, 5.10.1
Scoring and ties
A hole takes the higher value once it touches the ring's outer edge. Ties go to the most Xs, then the best last 10 shots, then the 10 before, and so on; a shot-by-shot comparison from the last shot is used only with electronic scoring.SPSF rules J.6.10.1 and J.6.11.2.1

The card

Turning targets
The cards stand in frames that turn them all at once: clockwise, seen from the shooter, to face, anticlockwise to disappear. White aiming lines replace the numbers left and right of the centre. Electronic targets may be used, in Militär snabbmatch also a red/green lamp.SPSF rules H.7.1 and J.7.1

The Shooter app's scan screen, shown with an ISSF 10m Air Pistol card: each shot marked, the score, and the size and centre of the group

Training on paper? Photograph a card and the Shooter app finds the holes and scores them by these rings: every shot, your inner tens, the series total, your group’s size and centre. Holes merged? Add, move or remove a shot. Every card joins your training log, so drift shows up over time.

Scored with AI for now, which needs internet and your permission to upload the photo to an AI service in the US. Some AI scans may be free while we collect photos of this target; then each uses an AI credit (sold in packs in the app). Scoring by hand is free.
