FFTir 25m RF Pistol target

In France this is the “cible vitesse 25 m”: FFTir shoots Rapid Fire Pistol (Vitesse Olympique) and the rapid-fire stages of 25 m Pistol and Centre Fire on it. Minime boys have a slower 40-shot Vitesse Olympique criterium, club teams settle their championship’s knockout rounds in one-shot, 3-second duels, and TAR shooters fire timed series on it with military handguns. The same card is also used as the DSB Nr.10 25m RF Pistol (DSB, Germany) and the ISSF 25m Rapid Fire Pistol (ISSF).

Classes and finals
In FFTir’s national programme, Vitesse Olympique is shot by cadet and junior boys and men S1–S2. At the French championship its finals are for junior boys (JG) and S1, and the 25 m Pistol finals for junior girls (JF) and D1.FFTir RGS B.4.1.1 and B.4.2
Minimes course
Minimes (born 2013–14) have 40-shot criteriums: boys shoot Vitesse Olympique in three 5-shot series of 10 seconds, three of 8 and two of 6, after a 10-second sighting series; girls shoot four 3/7 series after four precision series.FFTir RGS B.4.1.1
Minimes entry
To enter a minimes’ 25 m criterium, shooters must have shot the regional Écoles de tir championship in 10 m rapid-fire or 3/7 pistol and have their club president’s statement of at least three sessions of safe 25 m practice; places are limited.FFTir RGS B.4.1.1
Club championship
The club championship ends in knockout rounds for the best eight teams per division, fought as duels of one shot in 3 seconds, with 20 seconds to prepare; the team whose members win more duels takes the round, and four rounds win.FFTir RGS C.3.2.3 to C.3.2.4.2
TAR event 831
TAR’s event 831 “Vitesse réglementaire” is shot on this card with any TAR service pistol or revolver, one or two hands: 5 sighters in 20 seconds, then two 5-shot series in 20 seconds and two in 10, scored out of 200 by zone.FFTir event 831
Ready position
TAR speed series start from READY, the arm lowered at most 45° from the vertical. Raising the gun early or not lowering it enough earns a warning, then a 2-point deduction in the series, and disqualification at the third offence.FFTir § VI.3.2
TAR scoring
TAR scores without a gauge, counting values as in ISSF. In 831 each shooter uses two cards: the first, its sighters patched over, takes the 10 shots in 20 seconds.FFTir §§ VIII 1.2 and 1.2.3

Training on paper? Photograph a card and the Shooter app finds the holes and scores them by these rings: every shot, your inner tens, the series total, your group’s size and centre. Holes merged? Add, move or remove a shot. Every card joins your training log, so drift shows up over time.

Scored with AI for now, which needs internet and your permission to upload the photo to an AI service in the US. Some AI scans may be free while we collect photos of this target; then each uses an AI credit (sold in packs in the app). Scoring by hand is free.
